The plain-English version of how SiteBuild IQ works, what you pay for and what we do with your information. Last updated 24 October 2026.
SiteBuild IQ is made by ProWebDesigns (ABN 86 663 024 842), Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. To contact us, use Settings → Help & ideas in the app or email enquiries@prowebdesigns.com.au.
Each person gets their own personal access code. It’s for you only and works on the number of devices included in your plan. Please don’t share it – we can switch off a code that’s being shared.
You pay a monthly subscription. The main account includes one device; extra users and extra devices are charged per month. SiteBuild IQ Lite covers one active job with fewer features. Payments are handled by Stripe – we never see your card number. You can cancel at any time: your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and part-periods aren’t refunded (this doesn’t affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law).
You’ll see a message in the app and everything keeps working for the grace period (14 days). If it’s still unpaid after that, the app goes view-only: you can look at everything and download a backup, but not add or change anything until you pay. If it’s still unpaid 14 days after that, your access code stops working and the jobs stored online are deleted. We’ll email you at least 3 reminders before that happens.
When the period you’ve paid for ends, the app stays view-only for 30 days so you can download a backup of everything, then your access ends. You can ask us to delete the jobs stored online at any time through Help & ideas.
What we keep: your name, email and phone (for your access code and account), your business details, and – if you use a personal access code – your jobs, photos and receipts so your team can see the same jobs. We also keep help requests and ideas you send us, and when you last opened the app.
Where it’s kept: on your device, and on our hosting on Australian servers. Photos and receipts are stored in a private folder that can’t be opened from the web.
Who can see your jobs: you and the people in your team (your managers see only what you tick in Account & team). ProWebDesigns may look at your account only to fix a problem you’ve asked us about. We don’t sell your information and we don’t use it for advertising.
Other services: product searches go to your selected supplier (if they’re part of the SiteBuild IQ supplier network), and quote requests are sent to them only when you press Send. The weather uses your suburb or location with Open-Meteo. Payments go through Stripe.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time through Help & ideas. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
SiteBuild IQ helps you keep track of jobs, costs and dates, but it isn’t financial, tax or legal advice. Check important figures, GST and documents with your accountant or adviser. Keep regular backups.
We may update the app and these terms. If something important changes, we’ll tell you in the app.
